eGift Card Order Terms and Conditions

1. These Terms

1.1 What these terms cover. These terms and conditions apply to the purchase and use of eGift Cards. They are in addition to our standard Terms and Conditions of Order. By purchasing an eGift Card from us, you agree to both these eGift Card terms and the Standard Terms.

1.2 Why you should read them. Please read these eGift Card terms carefully before placing your order. They explain how eGift Cards are provided and delivered, how you can use them, and your rights and responsibilities. If you believe there is a mistake, please contact us.

1.3 Definitions. "eGift Card" or "Gift Card" refers to a digital gift voucher issued by a third-party retailer and delivered via email. "We" or "WellBox" means WellBox or WellBox Gifts. "You" refers to the customer purchasing or using the eGift Card. A "Gift Send" refers to providing recipient details or obtaining a link to supply to your recipients for the purpose of redeeming their gift. A "Redemption" is when your recipient confirms their details with the intention of receiving eGift details for the chosen retailer.

2. Gift Cards and Third-Party Retailers

2.1 Issuer and responsibility. All eGift Cards sold by WellBox are issued by third-party retailers and are subject to their own terms and conditions. The retailer is responsible for honouring the Gift Card and for any liabilities related to its redemption.

2.2 Not redeemable for cash. Unless stated otherwise by the retailer, eGift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash or credit and are for purchasing goods or services from the issuing retailer only.

2.3 Retailer terms apply. Redemption of an eGift Card is subject to the terms and conditions of the issuing retailer, which may include expiry dates or usage restrictions. It is your responsibility to review these terms. WellBox is not responsible if a retailer refuses to honour a Gift Card or encounters issues with its redemption.

3. Our Contract With You

3.1 Order acceptance. Your contract with WellBox begins when we send an order confirmation email. We will not be bound to supply any eGift Card until payment has been received and accepted.

3.2 If we cannot fulfil your order. We will inform you if we are unable to fulfil your order and will not charge you. If payment has already been made, a full refund will be issued.

3.3 Order reference. We will provide an order number with your confirmation. Please quote this if you contact us about your order.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

4.1 Cancelling before providing recipient details. You may request to cancel an order prior to completing the first Gift Send. If you have not yet completed and confirmed Gift Send details, we may refund the full value of your purchase to your original payment method at our discretion.

4.2 No refunds after providing recipient details or redemption. Once you have completed your first Gift Send, or the eGift Card has been delivered to the provided email address, or accessed by the recipient it is non-refundable. By placing your order, you agree to waive your statutory right to cancel once delivery has commenced.

4.3 Faulty or non-delivered eGift Cards. If an eGift Card is not delivered or is faulty, please contact us. We may replace the Gift Card or provide a refund, subject to investigation and confirmation that it has not been redeemed.

5. Your Rights to Make Changes

If you need to change the recipient email address or delivery date prior to dispatch, contact us promptly. We will advise if changes can be made and if they affect delivery or cost.

6. Our Rights to Make Changes

6.1 Minor changes. We may update our eGift Card products or terms for legal or technical reasons without affecting their value or use.

6.2 Significant changes. If we make material changes, such as substituting a Gift Card with another of similar value, we will notify you and offer a refund if you do not accept the change.

7. Delivery of eGift Cards

7.1 Method and timing. eGift Cards are delivered via email to the recipient address(es) you provide and your recipient confirms. Most are delivered within a few minutes of receiving your recipient's confirmation.

7.2 Delivery responsibility. Delivery is considered successful when the retailer's link to claim an eGift Card is sent to the email address confirmed during Redemption. WellBox is not liable for errors resulting from incorrect email addresses or unauthorised access to a delivered Gift Card.

7.3 Required information. You must provide complete and accurate information for your Gift Send. If we cannot deliver due to incorrect details, the order may be cancelled without refund unless the error is ours.

7.4 Lost or stolen eGift Cards. Treat your eGift Card like cash. If a Gift Card URL, Barcode, Number or Pin is lost, stolen, or used without permission after delivery, we are not responsible. We may reissue a Gift Card if it is proven unused and identity can be verified, but this is not guaranteed.

7.5 Your responsibility. You are responsible for safeguarding your Gift Card. Do not share the code publicly. We recommend that recipients secure their email account and device to prevent unauthorised access.

8. Legal Information

8.1 Governing law. These terms are governed by English law. If you live in the UK, you may bring legal proceedings in the relevant courts of England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, as applicable.

8.2 Dispute resolution. If you are a consumer, you may submit disputes for online resolution to the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
