How to Choose a Corporate Christmas Gift
The best corporate Christmas gifts are thoughtful, useful and appropriate for the recipient. Start by considering who you are buying for, your budget, dietary requirements and the message you want the gift to communicate.
Who Are You Buying Christmas Gifts For?
A gift for employees may focus on recognition, wellbeing or bringing teams together, while a client Christmas gift should strengthen the relationship and show genuine appreciation. You may also need different options for new starters, remote workers, suppliers or high-value customers.
Set a Clear Budget
Choose a realistic budget per recipient before comparing corporate Christmas gift ideas. Remember to account for VAT, branding if required and delivery.
WellBox offers corporate Christmas gifts across a range of price points, making it easier to find an option that feels generous while staying within budget.
Consider Dietary Requirements
Inclusive gifting helps every recipient feel valued. Look for Christmas hampers and gift boxes with vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and alcohol-free options.
Make the Gift Personal
Personalisation can turn a simple gift into a memorable experience. Add a thoughtful message, your company branding or allow recipients to choose their preferred gift through a branded redemption page.
The most effective corporate gifts feel personal to the recipient rather than like a generic bulk order.
Choose a Gift That Reflects Your Values
Your Christmas gift represents your organisation, so consider where the products come from, how they are packaged and whether the gift creates a wider positive impact.
WellBox corporate Christmas gifts include a charitable donation, helping you thank employees and clients while supporting good causes.
Plan Delivery Early
Christmas is one of the busiest times of year for gifting and delivery services. Ordering early provides more choice and gives you time to confirm addresses, dietary requirements, branding and delivery dates.
Ultimately, the right corporate Christmas gift is one that makes the recipient feel genuinely appreciated. Choose something thoughtful, inclusive and aligned with your brand, then add a personal message to make it memorable.

Do you have gifts for employees who don't celebrate Christmas?
Yes - any gift can be ordered without Christmas messaging. We swap the festive postcard for a neutral alternative, so the same gift works for everyone on your list without you having to ask anyone what they believe. Wellbeing gifts such as Glow, Mindfulness and Breathe carry no seasonal branding at all. Festive and non-festive gifts can be mixed within a single order.
Do you offer vegan, gluten-free and alcohol-free corporate gifts?
Yes, WellBox offers vegan and gluten free and no alcohol options on all our Corporate Christmas Gifts.
If you don't know who needs what - and most people ordering for 200 staff don't - a Gift Redemption Page collects dietary preferences directly from recipients, so you never have to send a survey or guess.

How Do You Send Christmas Gifts to Hundreds of Employees at Once?
Order one gift or 100,000 in a single order, directly from our website. Every order includes free UK delivery to as many separate addresses as you need, a personalised printed message, and a charitable donation made on your behalf. There's no minimum, and volume discounts start at 25 on most gifts.
What If You Don't Have Everyone's Address?
Send a Gift Redemption page instead. Recipients enter their own delivery address and preferences, so you're not chasing a spreadsheet or holding home addresses you'd rather not hold - which keeps the whole exercise GDPR-clean. It's the standard approach for remote teams and client lists.
Can Recipients Choose Their Own Gift?
Yes, through a fully branded Gift Portal. You pick the range and set the budget; recipients choose what they actually want and confirm their own address, contact details and dietary needs. It solves the impossible problem - one gift that suits 200 different people - and cuts the waste of gifts nobody wanted.

How Much Should You Spend on Corporate Christmas Gifts?
There is no right or wrong amount; it depends on your budget. We offer a range of gift options from £9.95 to £199.95 + VAT that can be gifted individually or shared among a team. In the UK, gifts costing less than £50, inclusive of VAT, per employee are not taxable under the Benefit in Kind rules.

"The overall feedback from colleagues was absolute appreciation at the quality of the gifts, but equally the ease at which our portal allowed them to make their choice and the very quick delivery."

"The team at WellBox were easy to contact suggested some very professional branding ideas while following our strict brand compliance guidelines to the t! I will not hesitate in using them again, and in fact, I look forward to it!"

"Great communication, delivered and met our expectations. Easy to upload our information."

"The packages all arrived
early or on time, and the clients all loved it. I think the addition of the charity donation is a really nice touch and important within the sector we're in."

What is the minimum order for corporate Christmas gifts?
There is no minimum. You can order a single gift or 100,000 from the same website. Most orders over 25 gifts qualify for volume discounts - contact our Manchester team to discuss pricing and bespoke options.
What is the gifts to employees £50 trivial benefits exemption?
A Christmas gift to an employee is exempt from tax and National Insurance, and does not need to be reported to HMRC, if all of the following are true:
- The cost of providing it is £50 or less (or £50 or less as an average per head, where working out the exact cost per person isn't practical).
- It is not cash or a cash voucher. A voucher exchangeable only for goods — such as a retail eGift card — can still qualify.
- It is not a contractual entitlement, including under salary sacrifice.
- It is not a reward for work or performance. A gift given because someone hit a target is taxable pay, not a trivial benefit.
How far in advance should we order corporate Christmas gifts?
We recommend placing orders by late November to ensure delivery in time for the holidays, especially for larger corporate Christmas gift campaigns.
Bespoke branded gifts by mid-October because of artwork and production lead times.
Most companies confirm budget and gift choice in October.
Are corporate Christmas gifts tax-deductible in the UK?
It depends on who receives the gift. Gifts to employees are normally tax-free under HMRC's trivial benefits exemption if they cost £50 or less, including VAT. Gifts to clients are treated as business entertainment and are normally not deductible.
Can I send Christmas gifts without knowing the recipients' addresses?
Yes. Send a gift redemption link and the recipient enters their own delivery address and dietary preferences. You never handle their personal data, which keeps you GDPR-clean and removes the usual problem of out-of-date address spreadsheets. This is the most common approach for remote teams and client lists.
Can we brand corporate Christmas hampers with our company logo?
Yes - through personalised sleeves, printed cards, branded inserts, custom packaging, or fully bespoke gifts built from scratch. Branded and bespoke gifts may need a longer lead time than standard gifts.
You can create and price your own gifts with the Gift Builder.
Can recipients choose their own gift?
What about employees who don't celebrate Christmas?
Any gift can be ordered without festive messaging, we'll swap the included postcard for a neutral alternative, so you can send the same gift to everyone without assuming what they celebrate. Wellbeing gifts such as Glow and Mindfulness carry no seasonal branding at all. Alcohol-free, vegan, gluten-free, and halal options are available across the range - a mixed order is fine.
Do you deliver Christmas gifts to remote and home workers?
Yes - free UK delivery to as many separate addresses as you need, on a single order. We also offer free redemption links so you don’t need to collect addresses yourself.
Are your Christmas gifts sustainable?
We're a Certified B Corporation™with a verified B Impact Assessment score of 91.3. Gifts use recyclable packaging and responsibly sourced products, and every order includes a charitable donation, either a meal donated to a local food charity or £1 to Mind. New for this year we have a 100% B Corp Certified Christmas Gift Hamper.
What charitable donation is included with each gift?
Every gift includes a donation made on your behalf - most gifts fund one meal donated to a local food charity, the wellness and self-care gifts fund £1 to Mind. Partners include the Trussell Trust, City Harvest, Matthew's House, Manchester Mind, and Barnabus. The donation is included in the price, not added at checkout. More on giving back
Can you send a client a Christmas gift? Compliance and gift policies
Usually yes - a modest, seasonal, unsolicited gift given to maintain a relationship is ordinary business courtesy. The risk isn't the gift; it's the timing, the value, and the recipient's own rules.
What keeps a client gift comfortable
- Keep it modest and seasonal, if unsure send it to the team, not to one decision-maker.
- Send to the office, not a home address, unless they've asked otherwise.
- Make it consumable or shareable; nothing that reads as personal.
- Attach nothing transactional. No offers, no asks, no "as we approach renewal".
- Send early-to-mid December, away from decision points.
Our gift redemption links help here: the recipient chooses whether to accept and where it goes, so a gift that breaches their policy simply never gets claimed - no awkwardness, no returned parcel, no cost to you.
General guidance only, not legal advice. If your sector is regulated, or your gift is substantial, take advice on the Bribery Act 2010 and your own anti-bribery procedures.
