FAQ
How much does an employee welcome pack cost?
Our ready-made branded packs run from £29.95 to £124.95 + VAT per pack. Bespoke packs are priced on what goes in them, and you can build and price one yourself with our Gift Builder before speaking to anyone. Volume discounts start at 25 packs on most ranges.
Can you hold our packs and send them out as people join?
Yes. Order and pay once, and we warehouse the packs and dispatch them individually as each new starter is confirmed. You get one invoice, an online portal showing current stock levels, and the ability to personalise the message on each pack before it goes.
Can you send welcome packs to new starters outside the UK?
Yes, through our global logistics partners, at discounted volume rates. International delivery carries additional charges, and lead times cannot be guaranteed because customs clearance is outside our control. We typically see 10 to 14 working days for most EU countries and the US.
Is there a minimum order?
Not for our ready-to-go collection of gifts. You can order one. Branded gifts and bespoke packs start at 25.
What if we don't have the new starter's address yet?
Send them a Gift Redemption Page instead. They enter their own address, along with clothing size and dietary preferences, and the pack ships to them. You never handle the data, which removes both the chasing and the GDPR headache. It also solves the common case where someone is relocating between offer and start date.
What should an employee welcome pack include?
A good welcome pack has four parts: something branded the new starter will actually use, something to eat or drink, something personal, and the practical information they need on day one.
In practice that means branded merchandise such as a notebook, bottle or clothing; food, drink or wellbeing items; a printed welcome letter or postcard signed by the team; and any handbook, login details or first-week schedule you want them to have before they start. For remote hires, add the things an office would otherwise provide, and send the pack to arrive a few days before day one rather than on it.
Are employee welcome packs a taxable benefit?
Often not. A welcome pack is given on joining rather than as a reward for work, so if it is a non-cash gift costing £50 or less per person including VAT, it can qualify as a tax-free trivial benefit under HMRC's rules. Above £50 the full value is taxable, not just the excess. Check your own position with your accountant.
